Activities

The ideal complement for your learning

Learning Spanish is not just about studying. Although it is true that classes are the daily starting point to learn and reinforce the main concepts of the language, the lesson does not end when you close the book and leave the classroom, but continues beyond its four walls. For this reason, at Mester we put special care and effort into developing a complete program of socio-cultural activities that perfectly complement
your Spanish course.

Thanks to our experience and ability to adapt, we have designed an offer in which the balance between culture, language and fun is perfect. You will visit the main monuments of Salamanca, you will learn about many aspects of history, literature or art, but you will also discover and live in first person our culture through the tapas route, the dance or Mediterranean cooking classes, the visits to craft centers and local museums or the typical dinner. At Mester we consider of vital importance to integrate our students in the real life of the Spanish people, in their schedules, in their lifestyle, so that they feel, from the first moment, an active part of the life of our city.

Some of the main features of our socio-cultural program:

– All activities are included in the program, including a tapas tour and an excursion (depending on the availability of the week in question).

– The activities are optional, so you can always choose which ones you want to join or not.

– Every Monday we will provide you with the specific socio-cultural itinerary for each week.

– All activities are led by our guides, who will not only give you all the details of the tour in question, but will also be available at all times to help you with whatever you need.

– Our activity coordinators will advise you at all times about the specific contents of each activity, giving you all the details. We will also advise you on any
other activity available in the city, even if it is not included in our program.

– Although most of the activities are available all year round, there are others adapted to the different seasons and weather conditions. For example, in summer you can go to the swimming pool, horseback riding, hiking on the beach or play sports (subject to availability each week).

– There are some optional activities that require an additional fee. We will inform you about them
so you can decide if you want to join them or not.
