It is the only exam officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. It also enjoys great prestige in the business world.

This is a program of 20 classes per week with a maximum of 12 students (10 on average) per class. The first and second classes each day focus on grammar. The next two classes are conversation based and the last class explores past exams for practice.

Since the exam has an oral and a written part, the course includes audio-visual comprehension exercises, specialized texts and compositions that gradually increase in difficulty depending on the level of the exam the student is preparing for.

At Mester we only prepare students for intermediate and advanced level exams. If the student has an intermediate level, he/she should prepare for the intermediate level exam in a period of 2 to 3 months. In the case of advanced level students taking the higher exam, they will need about 4 months of preparation. You can consult the specific contents of the DELE course in the following links:

Exam dates are set by the Spanish Government and usually coincide with the second or third week of May, August and November.
